At SVdP, there is a gap of $1,500 in operational expenses between tuition and the true cost to educate each student. Each year we receive a generous parish subsidy of close to $800 per student. Rather than significantly increasing tuition, we work to raise the remaining $700 per student through fundraising from the Annual Fund and PTO contribution.
All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible and directly support the core needs of the School's operational expenses. This means your Annual Fund gift supports teachers' salaries and benefits (71%), facilities (16%), classroom instructional materials (6%), ancillary programs (5%) and administrative expenses (2%).
Please familiarize yourself with our two primary fundraisers: the Annual Fund and the Auction. Additionally, there are several projects throughout the year that provide services to families as well as fundraising, such as Bookfair, Steps For Students and the Dad's Club Golf Tournament.
